Summary
In 2017 I graduated for Industrial Engineering at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Since January 2019 I have been a QRM advisor & project manager at PROPOS software . Before that I worked for Kooima Company (Rock Valley, Iowa, USA) as a Process Improvement Engineer, where I was responsible for the implementation of Quick Response Manufacturing and Lean . During the 3 years that I worked for Kooima Company, I learned how QRM helps a job shop with a high mix / low volume production environment to reduce lead times by more than 30% and increase on-time delivery by more than 35% .

As a Quick Response Manufacturing advisor I guide the customers of PROPOS software in designing their processes based on the principles of QRM. As a project manager I lead projects to implement PROPOS.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER
My goal as a Process Improvement Engineer at Kooima Company was to advise management on how to shorten the lead time of production and improve the efficiency of machines and operators. Over the course of 3 years, we successfully implemented Quick Response Manufacturing, resulting in a lead time reduction of more than 30% and an increase in on-time delivery of more than 15%.
As part of the project we have implemented PROPOS software, a production planning software based on the principles of QRM and Lean.

As a graduation internship I advised Nedco BV - a wholesaler of plastic products, presentation displays and Sluban building block toys - how to increase output by at least 30% by adapting the organizational strategy and structure based on socio-technical principles.

ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPER
At Hollandia Infra BV - a company specialized in building bridges and complex steel structures - I gained experience as an organizational developer and project assistant in a culture changing project. In addition to supporting corporate culture related projects, I also did a lot of design work for Hollandia Infra BV. This includes icons for their website, on posters and in company magazines. I also played a major role in the design of a company brochure.
